Practicum

I am satisfied with the Practicum Presentation my group created and presented to the class. We were asked to relate the concepts of Factors Impacting Consumer Buyer Behavior to a real-life product example. We chose the Apple iPhone, a product that most people are familiar with, and it was a great success. There were plenty of connections to establish between the content presented in the book and the way in which Apple markets the iPhone. An area we could improve upon is being more direct with the connections we established. In some cases, we made assumptions about how Apple markets the iPhone. It would have been beneficial to obtain supporting evidence to back-up our conclusions. To solve this problem, we could spend more time researching and finding evidence for our assertions. Group 2 Practicum

Market Planning Assignment – Part 1

This project was more challenging for my group than the practicum. We had many group meetings and spent a lot of time going over particular aspects of the paper so we could all be on the same page with our work. Still, some parts of the paper appeared a bit disjointed because we did not leave enough time to assess our work as a group after most of it was completed. We are going to use better time management with the second part of the assignment to leave plenty of time for group editing before submitting it. This way, our paper will have better flow and we can minimize our errors. We made a number of formatting and referencing mistakes that could have easily been fixed, had we edited the paper as a group under a less stressful time constraint.
